kurimanzutto is a contemporary art gallery with locations in Mexico City and Manhattan, founded in 1999 by José Kuri and Mónica Manzutto together with artist Gabriel Orozco, initially as a nomadic project without a permanent space — its first exhibition, 'Economía de Mercado,' was staged at a Mexico City fruit stall. After organizing shows in parking lots, shipping containers, and restaurants through the early 2000s, the gallery settled into a former lumberyard in Mexico City's San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood in 2008, and expanded to New York in 2018 with a Manhattan project space. It represents an international roster of artists including Gabriel Orozco, Damián Ortega, Oscar Murillo, Danh Vo, and Haegue Yang.
