Independent Curators International
Art galleryIndependent Curators International (ICI) is a New York nonprofit founded in 1975 by Susan Sollins and Nina Castelli Sundell to expand the reach of curatorial and artistic practice beyond major art centers. Rather than maintaining its own exhibition space, ICI operates as a contemporary art center that organizes traveling exhibitions, publications, public programs, and training opportunities such as its Curatorial Intensive, connecting curators with artists, institutions, and audiences around the world. Headquartered in Manhattan, the organization has spent five decades building a network dedicated to collaboration and experimentation among curators internationally.
