Art galleryGitterman Gallery is a Manhattan gallery, on East 66th Street, dedicated to photography and photo-based art. Directed by Tom Gitterman, the gallery has operated for more than three decades, representing contemporary photographers and artists' estates while maintaining an inventory that spans the history of the medium, from nineteenth-century prints through postwar and contemporary work. Its inventory and roster have included work by figures such as Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston, Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, and Nan Goldin, alongside contemporary artists including Khalik Allah and Kenneth Josephson. Gitterman Gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA), reflecting its standing among New York's specialist photography dealers.
