Edwynn Houk Gallery is a photography gallery in Manhattan founded in 1977 by Edwynn Houk, today located near the Museum of Modern Art. The gallery built its early reputation on Modernist photography, becoming the exclusive representative of the estates of Brassaï, Bill Brandt, Dorothea Lange, André Kertész, and Ilse Bing. Beginning with its representation of Sally Mann in 1989, the gallery expanded into contemporary photography, and its program now spans figures including Abelardo Morell and Matthew Pillsbury alongside historical work by photographers such as Walker Evans, Robert Frank, and Alfred Stieglitz. Edwynn Houk Gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America.
