Storage
Art galleryStorage is a contemporary art gallery in Tribeca, Manhattan, founded in 2020 by artist Onyedika Chuke, a Nigerian-born sculptor who began dealing art while studying at Cooper Union and personally renovated the gallery's space. The program centers on a culturally diverse roster of emerging, mid-career, and established artists, with Chuke reviewing hundreds of submissions monthly in search of what he calls "tough, focused individuals" outside mainstream trends. Recent exhibitions have included a debut solo show of oil paintings by Rafael Kamada. The gallery also operates an appointment-only satellite space, Storage APT, and houses A.R.T., a nonprofit vocational arts-training initiative for youth ages sixteen to twenty-four, alongside its commercial program.
