Rodder
Art galleryRodder is a contemporary art gallery on Manhattan's Upper East Side, opened in September 2025 by dealer Felix Rödder, a former lawyer who worked in Los Angeles for Zander Galerie before joining David Zwirner in New York as the point person for Gerhard Richter's market. The gallery occupies a compact space on the top floor of a townhouse that previously housed Barbara Mathes Gallery, favoring an intimate, residential viewing experience over a conventional white-cube format. Its program emphasizes works on paper alongside paintings and sculpture; inaugural exhibitions featured New York artist Wyatt Kahn, including a solo presentation of paintings and a survey of his works on paper from 2011 to 2026. Rödder has said he intends to prioritize artist representation, resales, and historical exhibitions over extensive art-fair participation.
