Pictor Gallery is an artist-run fine art gallery in Manhattan's Chelsea gallery district. It grew out of ArtSpeak Collective, a virtual gallery platform established during the pandemic by Denise Jones Adler along with tech specialist Ginger Dhaliwal and artists Barbara Shelly and Laurie Murray; that platform led to the opening of Pictor's physical Chelsea space in May 2021 with roughly 25 member artists, debuting with the group show 'Desperately Seeking Normal.' Adler, an NYC-based mixed-media collage artist, serves as the gallery's managing director. Pictor hosts exhibitions and salon-style events intended to connect its member artists, who work across a range of mediums, with the broader art-seeking public.
