Paula Cooper Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded by Paula Cooper in October 1968, when she opened a space in SoHo with an inaugural exhibition that benefited the Student Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam and featured early minimalist and conceptual work. Credited as one of the first galleries in SoHo, it relocated to Chelsea in 1996. The program centers on minimal and conceptual art, handling the estates of Sol LeWitt, Donald Judd, and Carl Andre alongside a current roster including Mark di Suvero, Meg Webster, Liz Glynn, Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, Celeste Boursier-Mougenot, and Ja'Tovia Gary. The gallery has also partnered on exhibitions with institutions including Storm King Art Center, the Park Avenue Armory, and the Barnes Foundation.
