Montserrat Contemporary Art is a gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, established in 1989, originally in SoHo before relocating to Chelsea. It represents a roster of more than a dozen painters, sculptors, and photographers working in varied styles, from figurative and expressionist painting to abstract watercolor and underwater photography; represented artists include Holly Adams, Nancy Lee Cidoni, Barbara Fracchia, Jaume, Dorothy Krakauer, Mari Nishimura, Guillem Roche, and Akiko Siacca, among others. The gallery is open to visitors Wednesday through Saturday.
