Leon Tovar Gallery
Art galleryLeon Tovar Gallery is a gallery founded in Bogota in 1991 that relocated to Manhattan's Upper East Side in 2002, where it now operates by appointment. Its program centers on modern art from Latin America, working to build art-historical recognition for modernist artists from the region who have been underrepresented in institutional collections, alongside postwar, drawing, and sculpture programming. The gallery currently represents five living artists, including Santiago Cardenas Arroyo and Alvaro Marin, as well as the estates of four additional artists, and participates in exhibitions, catalogues, and international art fairs. It has been a member of the Art Dealers Association of America since 2019.
