Luxembourg + Co is a Manhattan gallery presenting museum-quality exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. It was founded in 2009 as Luxembourg & Dayan by Daniella Luxembourg, formerly of Sotheby's and Phillips de Pury, and Amalia Dayan, with Alma Luxembourg joining as a partner in 2011; after Dayan's departure the gallery was renamed Luxembourg + Co and is now co-run by Daniella and Alma Luxembourg. The gallery specializes in historical, thematic surveys — exhibitions have examined subjects such as grisaille painting, unpainted paintings, and the shaped canvas — alongside contemporary artists including Derrick Adams and Liz Magic Laser, and historical figures from Picasso and Matisse to René Magritte. It also maintains a gallery space in London.
