Hollis Taggart
Art galleryHollis Taggart is a New York gallery founded in 1979 with a program built around scholarship, presenting museum-quality American art from the Hudson River School through Modernism into the Post-War and contemporary periods. The gallery has worked with more than thirty museums on scholarly catalogues, sponsored several catalogue raisonne projects, and represents roughly thirty contemporary artists alongside a secondary-market inventory that has included major twentieth-century figures. After decades on the Upper East Side, the gallery consolidated its exhibition program in Chelsea and later opened a second Manhattan location downtown. It is a member gallery of the Art Dealers Association of America.
