Greene Naftali
Art galleryGreene Naftali is a contemporary art gallery founded in 1995 by dealers Carol Greene and Gloria Naftali, among the first galleries to open in New York's Chelsea neighborhood. It occupies two Chelsea spaces, an eighth-floor gallery that opened with its 1995 debut and a ground-floor space added in 2014, and for several years also ran Greene Naftali Garage, a temporary venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The gallery represents mid-career and established artists working across painting, sculpture, video, and mixed media, including Lubaina Himid, Paul Chan, Jana Euler, Rachel Harrison, Tony Cokes, and Jonathan Lasker, and has staged large-scale exhibitions such as the periodic "Painting: Now and Forever" survey.
