Garth Greenan Gallery is a Chelsea gallery that champions the work of established artists, many of whom first emerged in the 1960s and 1970s, aiming to recontextualize their contributions within art history. Its roster of 27 artists spans painting, sculpture, drawing, and printmaking and includes Art Green of the Hairy Who movement, Howardena Pindell, Al Loving, Nicholas Krushenick, Rosalyn Drexler, and Gladys Nilsson. The gallery has also expanded to represent a multigenerational group of Indigenous artists, including Emmi Whitehorse, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, and Cannupa Hanska Luger, and mounts about seven exhibitions a year, many with scholarly publications.
