Christie's conducts live and online auctions and private sales spanning fine art, jewelry, sculpture, historical documents, and other collectibles. Owned by Francois Pinault's Groupe Artemis, the house recorded $8.4 billion in art and luxury sales in 2022, an all-time high for any auction house, and maintains a Manhattan saleroom serving New York's gallery and museum community.
