ArtBridge Projects
Art galleryArtBridge Projects refers to the public-art initiatives of ArtBridge, a New York City nonprofit that has worked for more than 15 years to convert construction fencing and scaffolding into exhibition space for local artists. Programs include City Canvas, created under NYC's Local Law 163 to activate construction sites with art rather than blank fencing; Bridging the Divide, bringing installations to NYCHA public housing developments; and ArtBridge Exchange, an international collaboration program. The organization partners with construction firms and sponsors to install murals and rotating exhibitions across the five boroughs, giving local artists paid, publicly visible commissions.
