The Center for Curatorial Leadership (CCL) is a New York nonprofit that trains art museum curators to become institutional leaders. Co-founded by collector and philanthropist Agnes Gund, CCL combines mentorships with museum directors and innovators, rigorous coursework in strategic management, and professional networks, preparing curators to pair scholarly expertise with administrative skill in a rapidly evolving cultural landscape. Over nearly two decades the organization has cultivated an alumni community of roughly 500 curators, many of whom now lead major art museums. Its programs include the CCL Fellowship, the CCL/Mellon Foundation Seminar, the CCL/MoMA International Curatorial Institute, and the CCL/Studio Museum in Harlem Curators' Forum.
