Candice Madey is a contemporary art gallery and advisory practice on Manhattan's Lower East Side, founded by its namesake dealer, who previously established the pioneering Lower East Side gallery On Stellar Rays in 2008 and directed its program for nine years, presenting first solo shows for many artists early in their careers. After founding Stellar Projects, an art consulting and curatorial platform advising private collections and foundations, in 2018, she returned to the same building that housed On Stellar Rays to open her eponymous gallery, which operates by appointment and works with individual artists, artist estates, collections, and institutions to develop exhibitions and collaborations that expand the curatorial contexts around artists' practices. Madey holds an MBA from Ohio State University and has been a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance since 2009.
