Art galleryMarianne Boesky Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded by Marianne Boesky in 1996, opening with solo exhibitions in SoHo of Lisa Yuskavage, Polly Apfelbaum, and Diti Almog; Sarah Sze, Yoshitomo Nara, and Takashi Murakami joined the roster by 1998. The gallery established its flagship in Chelsea in 2007 and later expanded into the adjacent space, after experimenting with additional venues on the Upper East Side and Lower East Side and in Aspen, Colorado. Its stated mission is to support artists' developing practices while cultivating relationships with prominent arts institutions and private collectors, and it represents more than thirty artists across generations, including Ghada Amer, Sanford Biggers, the Haas Brothers, Danielle McKinney, and Frank Stella.
