CLAMP, formerly ClampArt, is a contemporary art gallery established in 2000, now located in Chelsea, Manhattan, in the Flower District. Directed by Brian Paul Clamp, who holds an MA in Critical Studies from Columbia University and has authored more than forty publications on American art, the gallery represents emerging and mid-career artists across media with a particular specialization in photography. It also maintains an inventory of modern and contemporary paintings, prints, and photographs dating from the early twentieth century onward. CLAMP has placed artists' work in major institutional collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Princeton University Art Museum.
