Black Brick Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, that pairs artist studios with a gallery space. Its mission is to expand access to the arts and skilled trades for underrepresented artists and youth by providing fabrication resources, mentorship, and community programming, including exhibitions, hands-on creative workshops, and vocational training. Programming spans solo and group exhibitions, cultural events, and community dialogue; recent shows include El Deporte Más Bello del Mundo, a group exhibition curated by Diego Anaya examining football through culture, ritual, identity, labor, and collective experience.
