ArtBridge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Chelsea, Manhattan, that has worked for more than 15 years to convert New York City construction fencing and scaffolding into public exhibition space for local artists. Its programs include City Canvas, developed under NYC's Local Law 163 to reduce the visual blight of construction sites; Bridging the Divide, which brings art installations to NYCHA public housing sites; and ArtBridge Exchange, an international partnership program. The organization partners with construction companies and sponsors to install murals and rotating exhibitions on fencing across the five boroughs, offering visibility and paid opportunities to local artists.
