Artadia is a national nonprofit grantmaking organization founded in 1999 that supports visual artists through unrestricted, merit-based awards. Based in Brooklyn, New York, it operates in eight regions across the U.S., including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Houston, Atlanta, and Northwest Arkansas. Through the Artadia Awards, an artist network, fiscal sponsorship for artist-led initiatives, and a limited-edition print program called Editions, the organization has distributed more than $6 million in unrestricted grants to hundreds of visual artists at pivotal moments in their careers.
