Lexi Bella is a New York City painter, muralist, and street artist raised near Philadelphia, with a BFA in painting from Rosemont College (2003) and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (2006). She produces large-scale spray murals as well as oil and acrylic paintings for gallery exhibitions, with public work appearing in cities including Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, and Detroit, and internationally in Rome, Paris, and Bristol, including projects with the Bushwick Collective, the L.I.S.A. Project, and the Audubon Mural Project. In 2014 she received a National Endowment for the Arts grant for her Lower East Side Heroines Project.
