Drawing on influences of science fiction and mythology, my current work explores the spaces between the supernatural and the mundane. An ambivalent escape, fantasy is often comforting and alienating all at once. The more the lines of reality and reverie blur, the more the psyche is inclined to investigate and understand them. With a bend toward the surreal, my drawings ask the viewer to come closer and follow their sense of inquiry.

I am a Brooklyn, NY based artist, freelance illustrator/designer, musician with 15 years experience in the creative field. I have an MFA from The Massachusetts College of Art & Design and am currently a design educator at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
