Chris Stain (b. 1972) is a stencil and street artist raised in Baltimore's Highlandtown neighborhood who began writing graffiti on NYC subways in the mid-1980s. Known for hand-cut stencil portraits addressing working-class and social themes, he has exhibited nationally and internationally since the 2000s and currently lives and works in Queens, New York.
