Andre Trenier is a muralist and mixed-media artist from the Bronx, New York, who graduated from LaGuardia High School and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. In 2004 he founded Tangible Thoughts, a project that began in fashion and sneaker customization and grew into a community-oriented art collective. His mural work includes a large-scale piece commissioned by the Bronx Museum, a baseball-legends series depicting Jackie Robinson, Joe DiMaggio, and Thurman Munson, portraits of Muhammad Ali, and a memorial mural for Heavy D & the Boyz in Mount Vernon. He competed internationally in Art Battle competitions between 2009 and 2012, winning multiple awards, and has served as an artist in residence at the Andrew Freedman Home in the Bronx.
