Tanya Bonakdar Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Chelsea founded by Tanya Bonakdar in 1994, originally in SoHo before relocating to West 21st Street in 1998. Following a 2006 renovation that added 5,000 square feet of exhibition space, the gallery has grown to represent more than thirty artists working across painting, sculpture, installation, photography, and video, including Olafur Eliasson, Tomás Saraceno, Ernesto Neto, Kimsooja, and Sarah Sze. It presents more than ten rotating exhibitions annually and participates in major international fairs such as Art Basel, Frieze, and The Armory Show. The gallery operated a second location in Los Angeles from 2018 to 2025. Bonakdar serves on the board of directors of the Art Dealers Association of America.
