Sundaram Tagore Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2000 in SoHo by Sundaram Tagore, a Calcutta-born, Oxford-educated art historian, gallerist, and filmmaker descended from Rabindranath Tagore, who previously worked as a director at Pace Wildenstein. The gallery represents artists engaged in cross-cultural dialogue between Western visual language and Asian, South Asian, and Middle Eastern forms and philosophies, including Hiroshi Senju, Chun Kwang Young, and Miya Ando. Tagore has since expanded the program internationally, adding locations in Hong Kong in 2008, Singapore in 2012, and a permanent London space in 2023; the Chelsea gallery presents rotating solo and group exhibitions.
