Summertime is an artist-run studio, residency, and gallery in Brooklyn dedicated to artists with and without intellectual disabilities creating and exhibiting together. The organization holds weekly mentor-led studio sessions, a formal artist residency program for emerging neurodivergent artists, and "Sincerely Summertime," a monthly postcard club featuring limited-edition collaborative artworks, alongside art walks and talks. Exhibitions are shown by appointment and have included sculpture by Chase Ferguson and collaborative ceramic work by Raquel Albarran Gonzalez and Josephine Noel. Summertime frames its mission around joy, creativity, and play as an alternative to conventional gatekeeping in the contemporary art world.
