
Sargent's Daughters
Art gallerySargent's Daughters is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2014 on Manhattan's Lower East Side, later relocating to Tribeca in 2024 to mark its tenth anniversary. Named for painter John Singer Sargent, the gallery favors artists whose work combines traditional technique with a contemporary sensibility, emphasizing global connections through history and literature. It is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America and represents artists including Yevgeniya Baras, Wendy Red Star, Erin O'Keefe, Carlos Rosales-Silva, Brandi Twilley, and Cielo Félix-Hernández, with a program that highlights women artists and often gives younger artists their first gallery exhibitions. Works by gallery artists have entered the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
