RainRain
Art galleryRainRain is a contemporary art gallery in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood, founded by Rain Lu, who originally opened L-Art Gallery in Chengdu, China in 2011 and worked there with emerging and mid-career artists across Asia until 2017. After relocating to New York, Lu relaunched the gallery under the RainRain name in 2022, beginning with digital projects before opening a physical space in fall 2023. The gallery's programming centers on diasporic experience and cross-cultural dialogue, building on Lu's earlier work introducing Asian artists to international audiences. Its offerings include exhibitions, a project space it calls "Speakeasy," art fair participation, and publications; a 2026 exhibition titled "Wetware," curated by Spine, was among its recent shows.
