Design galleryPublic Policy Lab is a nonprofit design and policy organization based in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood, founded in 2011. It applies human-centered methods drawn from design, social science, and technology to redesign government programs and services, working alongside public officials, frontline staff, and the communities those programs serve. Its project areas include veterans' services, homeless services, housing, education, and criminal justice. Past collaborators cited by the organization include the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Office of Personnel Management, and New York City agencies such as the Department of Homeless Services, the New York City Housing Authority, and the Department of Education, alongside foundations including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
