Pietro Alexander Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Soho, Manhattan, opened in 2026 by dealer Pietro Alexander in a space that once belonged to his late uncle and aunt. Before launching the eponymous gallery, Alexander spent four years, from 2021 to 2025, running SPY Projects, an experimental Los Angeles gallery he co-founded that focused on emerging artists priced below or slightly above $10,000. His new gallery pairs emerging contemporary work with historical Los Angeles art from the Cool School and Finish Fetish movements, showing artists such as Peter Alexander, Craig Kauffman, John McLaughlin, and Ken Price alongside newer names. The opening coincided with Alexander's wedding to filmmaker and writer Sara Apple Maliki.
