Peter Blum Gallery is a contemporary art gallery whose founder, Peter Blum, began his career in 1971 at Galerie Beyeler in Basel before moving to New York, where in 1980 he launched Peter Blum Edition, an early print-publishing imprint that worked with artists including John Baldessari, Louise Bourgeois, Alex Katz, and Barbara Kruger, and in 1984 co-founded Parkett magazine. He opened Peter Blum Gallery in SoHo in 1993, later expanding to Chelsea in 2006 and moving through Midtown before settling into its current Grand Street space in 2017. The gallery represents artists working across painting, sculpture, and print, including Marina Adams, Nicholas Galanin, Tomashi Jackson, Kapwani Kiwanga, and Martha Tuttle, and holds membership in the Art Dealers Association of America and the International Fine Print Dealers Association.
