The Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation is a nonprofit museum on Manhattan's Lower East Side dedicated to the work of Abstract Expressionist painters Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof, who lived and worked together in a former synagogue building from 1963 until Resnick's death in 2004; Passlof died in 2011. Tax-exempt since 2014, the foundation converted the couple's home and studio into gallery space with tall windows and wood floors, and it presents rotating exhibitions pairing their paintings with work by other artists, plus public programs including readings, talks, and music performances. Admission is free.
