Mama Projects
Art galleryMama Projects is a nomadic New York gallery that promotes and exhibits work by young and emerging artists not yet represented in the United States, working with a diverse range of contemporary practitioners from around the world to expand their audiences beyond pop-up shows and site-specific projects. The gallery is a regular exhibitor at art fairs including NADA New York, where in 2025 it presented a solo booth of painter Zhi Ding exploring home, migration, and identity through small-scale works drawn from personal memory and cultural narrative. Mama Projects is based in Manhattan and continues to operate without a fixed permanent gallery space, favoring pop-ups and fair presentations to introduce international artists to New York audiences.
