Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL) is a multidisciplinary arts organization in Jamaica, Queens, and the only member of New York City's Cultural Institutions Group based in Southeast Queens. Founded in 1972, it occupies the former Queens Register of Titles and Deeds Building, a Neo-Italian Renaissance structure designated a New York City landmark in 1974 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. JCAL's home includes galleries, dance and music studios, a ceramics studio, a digital art lab, and a 99-seat theater. Its mission is to provide accessible visual and performing arts programming and arts education to residents across the borough.
