Heritage Auctions is a major American auction house with a New York presence, founded in Dallas in 1976 by Steve Ivy and joined in 1982 by co-founder Jim Halperin. It has grown into one of the world's largest auction houses, dealing in more than fifty categories including fine art, rare coins, comics and comic art, books and historical documents, luxury accessories, and sports and entertainment memorabilia. The company reported over $2 billion in annual sales in 2025, its fifth consecutive record year, and maintains offices in multiple cities beyond its Dallas headquarters, including New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago, London, and Hong Kong.
