Friedman Benda is a contemporary design gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, representing an international roster of designers working in furniture, objects, and sculptural work. Its program includes established and emerging figures such as Joris Laarman, Formafantasma, Nicole Cherubini, and Fernando Laposse, alongside the estates of designers including Wendell Castle and Ettore Sottsass, and collaborations with figures such as Ron Arad, Marcel Wanders, and Gaetano Pesce. Beyond its Chelsea exhibitions, the gallery has organized museum presentations at institutions including the Artizon Museum in Tokyo, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and the Triennale di Milano, and participates in fairs such as TEFAF New York.
