Founded in 1989 by artist Bradley McCallum as Collaborative Urban Sculpture, the organization was renamed Conjunction Arts in 1999 and now supports socially engaged art and fiscal sponsorship for artists, with an office at the Brooklyn Navy Yard alongside a newer San Francisco base.
