Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Gallery
Art galleryThe Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Gallery is the larger of two exhibition spaces inside the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at Parsons School of Design, The New School, on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Opened in 2008 and named for longtime New School supporters Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen, the roughly 3,200-square-foot, museum-quality gallery hosts exhibitions meant to spark dialogue around art and design, including recurring Parsons thesis shows. The building also houses the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Archives, a collection of drawings, photographs, letters, and objects documenting twentieth-century design. The gallery is free and open to the public during building hours.
