For about eight years he has painted on a Lower East Side block in Manhattan, using the site to respond to the city's current mood; during the 2026 NBA Finals he painted a mural of New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson, later updating it with a championship trophy after the team's run. Beyond murals, Zimer's practice spans painted sculpture, apparel, and print series such as Wild Heart and Graffitisaurus, alongside recurring characters including balloon-dog figures and pigeons, sold through his online store.
