TATS CRU is a Bronx-based collective of graffiti artists turned professional muralists, based in Hunts Point and active since 1980. Founded by Wilfredo "Bio" Feliciano, Brim Fuentes, and Mack, the crew was later joined by Sotero "BG183" Ortiz and Hector "Nicer" Nazario, who together with Bio remain its core members. The group began by painting New York City subway cars in the early 1980s under the name T.A.T Cru, and after the trains were cleaned in the late 1980s shifted to street murals, rebranding as TATS CRU in the early 1990s. Known as "The Mural Kings," they have painted roughly 120 memorial murals honoring figures including rapper Big Pun, alongside large-scale commercial murals and advertising campaigns for companies such as Coca-Cola and Sony.
