Other

My work is rooted in traditional material practices and shaped by my experience as part of the South Asian diaspora. In my felted drawings, soft sculptures, and installations, I explore shared histories of alienation, migration, and transformation. Each piece becomes an intimate excavation—holding fragments of time, story, and place. As the fibers shift and resettle, unexpected marks rise to the surface. This approach draws from both land and body, which reveal centuries of trauma and renewal. Wool, too, holds memory—organic, responsive, and shaped by its environment. It becomes soil, skin, or map.
