Robin Hagert is a ceramicist based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, working in both wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques to create one-of-a-kind vessels. Her practice, summarized in her own words as work made "for the love of color, or not," favors imaginative, intuitive forms over a fixed style. She is affiliated with Clay Space, a Greenpoint ceramics studio, and takes part in the neighborhood's annual Greenpoint Open Studios tour, where she shows her pottery alongside dozens of other local ceramic artists.
