Polly Fossey is a Brooklyn-based narrative illustrator working in watercolor, pen and ink, digital media, and risography. Her illustrations, comics, and short stories explore themes of labor, urban living, dressmaking, and animals, drawing in part on her fourteen-year career as a tailor. She has self-published several risograph works through Printed Matter, including '7 Color Contrasts with Risography,' an exploration of color contrast in risograph printing, and 'Color Layover,' a book capturing her impressions of Casablanca, alongside other titles such as 'Sheepy on Strike' and a 3D Riso Color Wheel.
