Nicky Enright is a multimedia artist, educator, DJ, and writer born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, who lives and works in the Bronx, NY. He holds a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from Hunter College. His interdisciplinary practice spans 2D work, installation, public art, video, and sound (performing as DJ Lightbolt), exploring language, identity, and borders. He has exhibited at Rush Arts, Smack Mellon, the Bronx Museum, the Kennedy Center, and the Museum of the Americas, and completed public commissions for MTA Arts & Design, the Smithsonian, and NASA. He is an apexart Global Fellow and A Blade of Grass Fellow.
