Naveen Shakil is a self-taught visual artist, muralist, and graphic designer based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, holding a bachelor's degree in architecture with distinction from the University of Dundee in Scotland. She previously worked at architecture firms in Pakistan and Australia, then as a senior graphic designer in New York for fashion brands including Vince Camuto, Anne Klein, and BCBG and for the Estée Lauder Companies, and now works as an art director at a fintech startup. Her practice spans painting, mixed media, digital design, photography, and large-scale murals blending graphic and surreal imagery with a street-art sensibility; she has painted murals around Williamsburg as well as in Paris, London, Montreal, Melbourne, and Karachi, and her work has appeared in Red Bull and New York Artists Magazine.
