Mixed mediaMorgan Smith is a Brooklyn-based painter and scenic artist originally from Cut Off, Louisiana, now working between New York and New Orleans; she holds a BFA in Painting. Her fine-art practice spans painting, drawing, and mixed-media collage, exhibiting in galleries around the country and producing murals throughout the New York area, with work drawing on cultural clashes and everyday mishaps to build socially layered portraiture. Professionally, she has worked as a Lead Scenic Artist and Art Coordinator for television productions including History Channel's "Forged in Fire" and "The Food That Built America," and serves as a project manager at ARCH Production & Design in New York City, building large-scale immersive marketing and retail installations.

She exhibits at galleries NATIONWIDE and has NUMEROUS murals IN the New York area. Clashes in culture & current everyday mishaps play as inspirations TO HER seemingly playful yet socially layered artwork. She aims to create portraits and messages that reflect realities of our present society.
